47% of US Broadband Households will have a Smart Speaker with Voice Assistant by 2022
A recent report form Parks Associates suggests that 47% of US broadband households will own a smart speaker with a voice assistant by 2022.
The report also reveals that 55% of US broadband households consider voice control in connected entertainment devices to be an appealing feature. Additionally, 43% of US broadband households consider voice control an important feature in streaming media players or smart TVs.

- Voice features are becoming common in connected entertainment devices such as voice remotes, streaming boxes, sticks and even set-top boxes.
- 50% of US broadband households are interested in using voice control to turn the TV on and off while 37% are interested in using voice control to modify volume.
